That is what I have been told. There was something before, but it doesn't matter. Nothing matters compared to The Noise. She tells me I am a weapon; that I should obey.
I obey. Happily. No choices to be made, no fear to be had. Nothing but me and The Noise.
Atmodrop into a massive arena, a blood sky whipping past my frame's sensors. My engagement parameters are clear: I am to kill whatever opponent appears in front of me.
A controlled landing, the arena crowd roars. My frame vibrates, shudders with the morsestatic pumping in my blood. I am informed of my target. A green mech. Significantly larger than me.
There's... something familiar about that mech in front of me. It scratches at the peripheries of my memory.
The morsestatic flares, wiping away my hesitation. A vibration on my nodes. It doesn't matter. Blood up, spear down. It's time to kill.
Your name is HAWK is a mechsploitation fighting game. Or, it will be. This is a combat demo proof of concept for that eventual game I want to make.

This seriously fucks. The whole presentation of it is so cool and flavorful! The combat is fast, fluid and extremely brutal. I especially love the pilot-side cam, and how it’s shakes and tilts when the mech does.
It took me like 50 tries to finally beat the opponent though, so to me it’s really difficult but I just may be bad at it.
The amount of different attacks and animations across the two fighters is really impressive, and I think kept the whole thing very dynamic.
